A total of $370,000 will be invested in the Goldfields‐Esperance region as part of the Goldfields‐Esperance Community Chest Fund. Made possible by the State Government’s Royalties for Regions program, this newly established small grants program is aimed at providing funds to smaller community projects such as community events, arts and culture, youth and mental health programs and facility upgrades.

GEDC Chairperson, Tony Crook, today announced the successful applicants from both the first and second rounds of the 2015 Community Chest Fund which closed on 11 December 2014 and 30 January 2015 respectively.

“A total of 21 projects have been selected to receive a boost from the Goldfields‐Esperance Community Chest Fund towards their chosen projects.
