Regional Development Minister Terry Redman announced the Esperance Aged Care Facility was set for major improvements with a $3 million State Government Royalties for Regions investment as part of the Goldfields-Esperance Revitalisation Fund.

The project will include “ the construction of a modern, new 34-bed complex consisting of 17 general residential beds and 17 secure residential beds for people living with dementia.  At project completion, there will be 114 beds available at the facility," Mr Redman said.

"The expanded facility will address current and future demand for residential care in the Esperance region."
